This "Epoca di Nascita" is the birth record for Pasquale Palatucci who was baptized in the Parochial Church of Santa Lucia (see photo below) near his family home in the Via Piedipastini in Montella, Italy. Translated it states he was born of Guiseppe Palatucci and Rosa Gambone on April 21st, 1878. This was an Easter Sunday, and Pasquale is the honorific name for Easter -- "Pasqua". Below that is a note that the document was issued February 3rd, 1894 - as Pasquale, 15 years of age, set out on his journey to the United States. Further below in pencil is "Montella", the town, and several names whose significance is unfortunately unknown. Luigi Belli and Generosa Maio may well have been his godparents but that is a guess based on the nature of the document.
